Board Members
Role: Seeking enthusiastic and well-connected individuals to serve on the Board of Directors of Early Bird Books, leading efforts to strengthen community partnerships and support the mission of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of West Michigan.
Responsibilities: Provide strategic guidance on outreach and fundraising initiatives; build relationships with local partners and sponsors; represent Early Bird Books and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library at public events and in collaborative networks to enhance visibility and impact.
Qualifications: Passion for early childhood literacy and equity in education with strong ties to local community networks. Previous board or nonprofit leadership experience a plus

​Grant Writers (remote)
Role: Seeking a volunteer grant writer to research and draft compelling grant proposals to support early childhood literacy through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
Responsibilities: Identify funding opportunities, tailor proposals to funder priorities, and collaborate with the Early Bird Books team to secure and maintain financial support.
Qualifications: Strong writing and research skills with a passion for literacy and community development. Experience with nonprofit grant writing a plus.

Fundraiser & Events Coordinators
Role: Seeking a creative and organized volunteer to plan and coordinate fundraising events that support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of West Michigan.
Responsibilities: Plan and manage fundraising events, engage with local businesses and donors, and collaborate with the Early Bird Books team to maximize community involvement and support.
Qualifications: Strong organizational and communication skills; experience in event planning or fundraising preferred; enthusiasm for literacy and community engagement.
